Commencement is a time for graduates to celebrate along with their family, friends and professors. We look forward to honoring our undergraduate and graduate students' academic achievements every year at this important event. We are so proud of our graduates and what they go on to do. Congratulations!

Science and Technology Commencement 2020

Due to the rapidly changing environment and uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, SSU has postponed the Spring 2020 Commencement ceremonies and cultural celebrations.

Commencement Message from the Dean

On behalf of the faculty and staff of the School of Science and Technology, I extend our sincerest congratulations to our graduating seniors. We commend you for all that you have achieved and we are tremendously proud of your contributions to our success as a public liberal arts and sciences university. I invite you to remain actively engaged with our Science and Technology community. Please keep us posted on where life takes you as we wish to be a part of celebrating your continued achievement.

I am so disappointed that we cannot celebrate your Commencement in person this weekend. I hope you find a special way to celebrate your accomplishment. Our Student Speaker, Jennifer Juarez Yoc, is graduating with her B.S. in Biology. Jennifer recorded her special message to you - our graduating class - see her video below.

Thank you ALL for making the School of Science and Technology the special place it is!

Go Sci & Tech! Go Seawolves! Go SSU Class of 2020!
